The Uganda Buddhist Centre in Bunga, Kampala, offers a nurturing environment for individuals seeking to deepen their meditation practice and explore the teachings of Buddhism. Our centre provides a variety of meditation programs tailored to meet the needs of both beginners and experienced practitioners, fostering a community of mindfulness, compassion, and spiritual growth.

Meditation Programs

Every Saturday, we offer structured meditation practice to participants. These include guided meditations, Dhamma talks, group discussions, and periods of silent reflection.

Each week focuses on different themes such as mindfulness, lovingkindness (metta), and insight (vipassana) meditation, helping participants explore various aspects of Buddhist practice.

The current Saturday program runs from 3pm to 5:30pm every Saturday, incorporated with mindful movements, Yoga practice.

Monthly Day Retreats—once a month, we host a full day of meditation practice designed to provide a deeper experience without the commitment of a residential retreat. These retreats include guided sessions, mindful walking, and opportunities for individual reflection.
