The Novice Ordination program is in line with the goal of enhancing the quality of basic education by instilling Buddhist virtues, wisdom and mental development among the participants in this program. As a result, these young men will be able to adapt to the growing cultural and religious diversities in the country.
As the program strives to cultivate virtues of love, respect, politeness, discipline and punctuality, and wisdom through meditation, we believe that by giving these young men and women proper guidance and training will help them grow into responsible and respectful adults. Moreover, the basic virtues that they follow during their training become the grounds for them to improve the quality of their life and foster better performance in their academic life.
Currently, we have 20 novice monks.
