A Day of Joy at the Uganda Buddhist Centre

Today marked a significant day at the Uganda Buddhist Centre as the spirit of generosity and achievement filled the air. We were honored to unveil a heartfelt donation from Miss Wang, a generous supporter of our mission, who provided jerseys, shoes, and bags for the pupils of the Buddhist Peace School. This generous gesture will undoubtedly bring joy and practical assistance to our students as they pursue their education.

In addition to this wonderful donation, we celebrated the achievements of our students who recently completed their Primary Leaving Exams with flying colors. Amidst smiles and cheers, the Buddhist Peace School community came together to commemorate their success. The Venerable Bhante Buddarakkhita graciously presented certificates of excellence to the accomplished students, recognizing their hard work and dedication.

During the joyous occasion, Miss Wang shared heartfelt words, expressing her deep appreciation for the warm welcome she received at the centre. She commended the children for their intelligence and cleanliness, emphasizing the importance of peace and education.
