Dear Beloved Friends of the Uganda Buddhist Centre,

Warm greetings of peace, compassion, and renewed connection.

For many years, Venerable Dr. Kaboggoza Buddharakkhita has walked a path of healing that weaves together mindfulness, Indigenous knowledge, and the wisdom of the Buddha. His dedication to restoring harmony between people, land, and spirit has become a cornerstone of UBC’s service to the world.

We are honored to announce a special online event where Bhante will share this lifelong work with a global audience.  Will you share this webinar with your own networks in a way to spread awareness and build support for our mission?

In these times of great uncertainty, ecological disruption, and cultural fragmentation, many people feel a deep longing to reconnect with themselves, with community, and with the living Earth.

Bhante has devoted decades to this healing, drawing from Buddhist practice, African Indigenous wisdom, and the lived experience of building UBC as a sanctuary for peace and renewal.

This gathering is part of a broader global initiative called the Grandmothering Economy, which honors ancestral wisdom, community care, and spiritual coherence as foundations for a flourishing future.

Bhante will offer insights on:

🌿 Indigenous approaches to trauma healing
through mindfulness, meditation, and connection with nature.

🌍 Spiritual ecology as kinship
learning how land, ancestry, and compassion reconnect us across cultures and generations.

🔥 Spirit-centered design:
how sacred practice, community feasting, and ceremony help rebuild the “nervous system” of society.

🙏 The role of faith and spiritual practice
as unifying languages in times of division and collective challenge.

Why This Matters

The Uganda Buddhist Centre has always been more than a temple — it is a cross-cultural portal where peace, land stewardship, and community well-being take root through daily practice.

This webinar continues that mission, offering guidance for those seeking personal healing and collective transformation. Additionally, we wish to share our mission with the world, embracing
